I am pleased to announce that my latest novel, RAIN, was named the winner in the Literary Fiction category at the 2011 Indie Excellence Awards, and awarded a silver medal at the 2011 Independent Publisher Awards (IPPY) in the Regional Fiction: Australia/New Zealand category. The sequel in my children's series, SHARDS, was also named a finalist at the Indie Excellence Awards in the Juvenile Fiction category.

After a period at #1 on the Amazon bestseller list (women's fiction), Rain has settled (for the time being at least) at #4 in Family Saga (Kindle), #21 in Literary Fiction (Kindle) and #4 in Family Saga (Books).

I'm pleased to be participating in an initiative of the Australian Literature Review, Authors Compare where 100 authors are interviewed on various aspects of writing including characters, setting, narration, story etc. A contest will be launched for the best essays analysing the interviews. Winners of the Goodreads give-away have been announced and copies of Rain are on their way to Scotland, England, Australia and the USA. Thanks to the 875 readers who participated, and to Goodreads for hosting the giveaway program. 

RAIN is available in print and in various e-book formats at all major online retailers including Amazon.com and is now available in Italy (Amazon.it), Spain (Amazon.es) and France (Amazon.fr). For the Kindle version, I have enabled the lending facility.
